New Year Tournament - Trap - January 02, 2012


Milan Sotra, Partizan Belgrade, won the first place at Traditional New Year Tournament in trap event that took place on a pleasant day on January 02, 2012 at the BG Sport Centre Kovilovo Shooting Range.
24 shooters from Serbia and Montenegro competed with two rounds (50 targets) + finals, and Sotra won with 60 targets, after the shoot off with Rade Pavlovic (Queen -Senta). The third place went to Zoran Lukic (Grof -Kaliste, Pozarevac) with 59 targets.


“We used this fine event to present the awards for the best ranked shooters in trap event in 2011" - Milan Sotra, President of the Clay Target Shooting Federation of Serbia, said. - 2011 was a difficult, but successful year for us, as we have been excellent hosts of two big competitions - World Championship in Shotgun events in September, and European Championships in all shooting events in August. Quota places for London 2012 were achieved on both competitions.  Many representatives of both ISSF and ESC conveyed their congratulations on the successful organization and hospitality. I strongly believe that 2012 will be, result wise, much better for us and that our shooters, especially the young ones, will continue in right direction towards Rio 2016…”
The best ranked shooters in trap event in 2011: 1st place - Pera Nedic (Jedinstvo-Trap, Stara Pazova) with 69 points; 2nd place  -Zoran Lukic (Grof-Kaliste) with 54 points and junior Nemanja Smiljanic (Grof -Kaliste) was 3rd  with 47 points.
The best Club in 2011 was Grof from Kaliste with 78 points, Jedinstvo -Trap from Stara Pazova was the second with 78 points and Partizan -Belgrade, was the third with 30 points.
In 2010 Nemanja Smiljanic was the best individual and this is the second title in the row for Club Grof from Kaliste.
